Submission Guidelines

We invite a diverse community of creative minds to join the United Kingdom Fashion Film Festival. Filmmakers, designers, photographers, agencies, professionals, emerging talents, and students from the audio-visual, fashion, and advertising sectors are all encouraged to submit their films.

Selection Process
​
Our esteemed Board of Selectors thoughtfully curates and invites films to feature in the UK Fashion Film Festival's competition programme sections, along with various non-competitive festival programmes. Submitting your work automatically enters it into the selected film category.

Rules and Guidelines
​
- Submissions must not contain indecent adult material, threats, or violate any laws.
- Submissions must respect third party intellectual property and privacy rights.
- No third-party works, including music, should be used without proper licenses.
- Compliance with contractual obligations and provision of necessary licenses is mandatory.
- Films must not be older than 3 years from the current date.
Submission Requirements

Every submission must include the following:
- Films in languages other than English must have on-screen English subtitles.
- A photo of the director.
- Director's biography and filmography.
- One or more stills from the film.
- Dialogue or spotting list in English.
- Film clips or a trailer.
Terms and Conditions
​
By submitting your film, you grant the United Kingdom Fashion Film Festival the right to utilize an excerpt from your work for promotional purposes. You confirm that you have the authority to submit the film for screening and that you understand and accept the requirements and regulations.

Indemnification
​
The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the UK Fashion Film Festival against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including attorney's fees and court costs) resulting from claims involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, or loss or damage to submitted screening videos.
